These Bacon Jalapeño Popper Cheese Balls are the ultimate bite-sized appetizer! Packed with creamy cheese, smoky bacon, and just the right kick of jalapeño heat, they’re perfect for parties, game day, or snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 2 jalapeños, diced (remove seeds for less heat)

  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  • Shape mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).

  • Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat.

  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  • Serve chilled or at room temperature as a tasty snack or appetizer.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, toast the breadcrumbs before coating the cheese balls.

  • You can substitute panko for a lighter, crispier coating.

  • Make ahead: store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
