1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 ripe banana, sliced
½ cup cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons honey
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons heavy cream
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out puff pastry and cut into 3×3-inch squares.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.
Spread a little cream cheese mixture onto each pastry square and top with banana slices.
Fold pastry over to form a pocket; press edges to seal.
Place pastries on the baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate chips with heavy cream (using microwave or double boiler) until smooth.
Serve warm pastries with dark chocolate dip.
Sprinkle pastry tops with a little sugar before baking for extra sweetness.
You can substitute peanut butter or Nutella for the cream cheese mixture.
Best enjoyed warm, but leftovers can be reheated gently in the oven.
