These Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are broiled to perfection and drenched in a rich, savory garlic butter sauce. Perfect for romantic dinners or special occasions, this elegant seafood dish is surprisingly simple yet decadently flavorful.
4 lobster tails (6–8 oz each)
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Cut down the top shell of each lobster tail with kitchen scissors, stopping at the base.
Gently lift the meat and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coat the Lobster Tails:
Brush the garlic butter generously over the exposed meat.
Broil the Lobster:
Preheat broiler to high. Position oven rack 6 inches from heat.
Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8–10 minutes, basting with more garlic butter halfway through.
Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges.
Use a meat thermometer; lobster is done at 140°F (60°C).
Pair with buttery mashed potatoes, risotto, or a crisp salad.
Add a pinch of cayenne for extra heat if desired.
