Ingredients

Scale

For the Cajun Steak:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (6 oz each)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

For the Alfredo Pasta:

  • 8 oz fettuccine

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley and red chili flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the Steak:
Rub steaks with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  • Sear the Steak:
Heat a skillet over high heat. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side (for medium). Let rest 5 minutes, then slice.

  • Cook the Pasta:
Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Drain, reserving ¼ cup pasta water.

  • Make Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute.
Stir in heavy cream; bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan and whisk until smooth.
Toss in pasta and reserved water until well coated. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Assemble the Dish:
Plate pasta and top with sliced steak. Garnish with parsley and chili flakes.

Notes

  • Add a squeeze of lemon or drizzle of truffle oil to enhance the Alfredo sauce.

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to your heat preference.

  • Serve with garlic bread or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
