1½ lbs chicken tenders
3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice and zest of 1 large lemon
1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and lemon pepper.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp butter and olive oil over medium-high. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tbsp butter. Once melted, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Stir in lemon juice and zest; simmer for 1 minute until fragrant and bubbly.
Return chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over each piece. Mix to coat evenly.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or more lemon juice.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately—great over rice, pasta, or with a crisp salad!
For extra tang, add a splash of white wine or chicken broth to the sauce.
If you like heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes along with the lemon seasoning.
Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
