Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs chicken tenders

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, divided

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Juice and zest of 1 large lemon

  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season chicken tenders with salt, pepper, and lemon pepper.

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp butter and olive oil over medium-high. Sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.

  • In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tbsp butter. Once melted, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

  • Stir in lemon juice and zest; simmer for 1 minute until fragrant and bubbly.

  • Return chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over each piece. Mix to coat evenly.

  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or more lemon juice.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately—great over rice, pasta, or with a crisp salad!

Notes

  • For extra tang, add a splash of white wine or chicken broth to the sauce.

  • If you like heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes along with the lemon seasoning.

  • Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
