Filling:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Icing:

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until foamy.
  2. Stir in melted butter, eggs, salt, and mashed banana. Mix.
  3. Add flour in parts, mixing until dough forms. Knead for 10 minutes.
  4. Let rise in greased bowl for 1 hour.
  5. Mix filling ingredients.
  6. Roll out dough, spread filling, sprinkle walnuts.
  7. Roll, slice, and arrange in a greased dish.
  8. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
  9. Beat icing ingredients and spread over warm rolls.
