Ingredients

Scale

For the Burrata Bomb

  • 2 large burrata balls (about 46 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

For the Garlic Herb Pistachio

  • ½ cup shelled pistachios
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

For the Hot Honey

  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Optional Garnish

  • Microgreens or fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze drizzle

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Garlic Herb Pistachio: Toast the pistachios in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and immediately mix with minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside to allow flavors to meld.
  2. Prepare the Hot Honey: In a small saucepan over low heat, gently warm the honey together with red chili flakes for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally to infuse the heat. Remove from heat and let the mixture infuse further off the heat.
  3. Assemble the Burrata Bomb: Place the burrata balls on a serving platter. Drizzle each ball with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with sea salt and black pepper. Generously top each burrata ball with the prepared garlic herb pistachio mixture.
  4. Add Hot Honey: Drizzle the warm hot honey generously over each burrata bomb, ensuring an even coating for a perfect balance of sweet and spicy.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with microgreens or fresh basil leaves, and optionally drizzle with balsamic glaze for added depth. Serve immediately alongside toasted bread, crackers, or flatbread for dipping, enhancing the creamy texture and vibrant toppings.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of red chili flakes in the hot honey to suit your preferred spice level.
  • Use fresh herbs for the garlic herb pistachio to maximize flavor.
  • The burrata should be served fresh and at room temperature to enhance creaminess.
  • Toasted bread or crackers are recommended for serving to complement the creamy burrata and crunchy pistachios.
  • For a dairy-free alternative, substitute burrata with vegan soft cheese, but note the flavor will differ.
