  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Caramel Topping:

  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Brownie Base Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch springform pan. In a bowl, whisk butter and sugar until smooth. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Add cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder, stirring until just combined. Spread into pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  2. Prepare Cheesecake Filling Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour over cooled brownie base, smoothing the surface.
  3. Bake the Cheesecake Return pan to oven and bake 35–40 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
