Ingredients

Scale

For the Burritos:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade mix: chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups frozen French fries (cooked until crispy)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked rice (optional for extra filling)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup salsa or pico de gallo
  • 6 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fries – Bake or air-fry French fries until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Beef – In a skillet, brown ground beef with diced onion. Drain excess fat. Stir in taco seasoning + ½ cup water. Simmer until thickened.
  3. Assemble Burritos – Warm tortillas. Layer rice (optional), seasoned beef, fries, shredded cheese, sour cream, and salsa inside each tortilla.
  4. Roll & Seal – Fold sides in, then roll up tightly into burritos.
  5. Cheesy Finish – Place burritos seam-side down in a skillet or baking dish. Sprinkle extra cheese on top. Heat until cheese is melted (about 5 minutes on low or 10 minutes in a 350°F oven).
  6. Serve – Slice in half, garnish with extra fries or salsa, and DIG IN! 🌯🍟🧀

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add jalapeños, guacamole, or chipotle sauce.
  • Experiment with different cheese blends for unique flavors.
