Dry Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour – 2 cups (250g)
- Baking powder – 2 tsp
- Baking soda – ½ tsp
- Salt – ¼ tsp
Wet Ingredients:
- Peanut butter (creamy or chunky) – ½ cup (120g)
- Butter or oil – ¼ cup (60g)
- Brown sugar – ½ cup (100g)
- White sugar – ½ cup (100g)
- Eggs – 2 large
- Milk – 1 cup (240ml)
- Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- Chocolate chips – 1 cup (170g)
- Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, beat together peanut butter, butter (or oil), brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla.
- Add the dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing gently until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups lined with paper cases, filling them about ¾ full.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
