Indulge in the refreshing Creamy Brazilian Lemonade, a delightful twist on the classic with a touch of rosewater for an elegant finish. Creamy, tangy, and floral, this drink is a perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors, ideal for a sunny day.

Ingredients

Scale

Lemonade:

  • 2 whole lemons, scrubbed clean, ends removed, cut into quarters
  • 4 cups cold water

Creamy Base:

  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional, to taste)
  • ½ to ¾ tsp rosewater

To Serve:

  • Ice
  • Lemon wheels
  • Edible rose petals or dried rose buds
  • Mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Lemonade: Add quartered lemons, water, and sugar to a high-speed blender. Blend for just 15–20 seconds—don’t over-blend or it will turn bitter.
  2. Strain: Strain immediately through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing the pulp gently. Discard the solids.
  3. Creamy Base: Stir in sweetened condensed milk and rosewater. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with lemon slices and rose petals.

Notes

  • The rosewater amount can be adjusted to personal preference, as it can be quite fragrant.
  • For a vegan version, you can use a dairy-free condensed milk alternative.
