Shrimp:

  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined, tails on or off)

Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Shrimp: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet. Sauté garlic, add shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until pink and opaque.
  2. Make the Sauce: Pour in broth or wine, simmer, add lemon juice.
  3. Combine & Garnish: Sprinkle parsley, adjust seasoning. Serve with bread, pasta, or rice.

  • For a creamy version, add heavy cream.
  • To add heat, increase red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper.
