Lobster Tails
- 2 lobster tails (6–8 oz each), split in half lengthwise
Garlic Parmesan Butter
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Garnish & Serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Prepare the Lobster: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or heat your grill to medium-high. Split the lobster tails lengthwise and carefully loosen the meat slightly from the shell to allow the flavors to penetrate better.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan Butter: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Cook the Lobster: For the oven method, place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, brush them generously with the garlic Parmesan butter, and bake for 10–12 minutes until the meat turns opaque and is fully cooked. For grilling, place lobster tails shell-side down on the grill, brush with the butter mixture, cook for 5–6 minutes, brush again, and grill for another 3–5 minutes until done.
- Serve: Garnish the cooked lobster with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges. It pairs beautifully with rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh light salad for a complete meal.
Notes
- Ensure not to overcook the lobster to maintain a tender texture.
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor; garlic powder can be a substitute but won’t be as potent.
- You can adjust the amount of paprika depending on your spice preference.
- For a richer taste, add a splash of white wine to the butter mixture.
- Leftover lobster can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
