Ingredients

Scale

Lobster Tails

  • 2 lobster tails (68 oz each), split in half lengthwise

Garlic Parmesan Butter

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Garnish & Serving

  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lobster: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or heat your grill to medium-high. Split the lobster tails lengthwise and carefully loosen the meat slightly from the shell to allow the flavors to penetrate better.
  2. Make the Garlic Parmesan Butter: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Cook the Lobster: For the oven method, place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, brush them generously with the garlic Parmesan butter, and bake for 10–12 minutes until the meat turns opaque and is fully cooked. For grilling, place lobster tails shell-side down on the grill, brush with the butter mixture, cook for 5–6 minutes, brush again, and grill for another 3–5 minutes until done.
  4. Serve: Garnish the cooked lobster with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges. It pairs beautifully with rice, steamed vegetables, or a fresh light salad for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Ensure not to overcook the lobster to maintain a tender texture.
  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor; garlic powder can be a substitute but won’t be as potent.
  • You can adjust the amount of paprika depending on your spice preference.
  • For a richer taste, add a splash of white wine to the butter mixture.
  • Leftover lobster can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
