  • ¾ cup (180ml) cold whole milk
  • ⅓ cup (75g) unsalted butter, melted

Garlic Herb Butter Topping:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt.
  2. Add cheddar: Stir in shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  3. Stir in milk and butter: Pour in milk and melted butter. Stir until just combined (do not overmix).
