For the Gyro Chicken:

For the Spicy Garlic Yogurt Sauce:
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1–2 tsp chili paste or harissa (adjust heat)
- 1 small garlic clove, grated
- Salt, to taste
For Assembly:
- 4 pita breads or flatbreads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- Fresh parsley or dill (optional)
- Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, cumin, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the thinly sliced chicken and mix well to coat. Let the chicken marinate for at least 20 minutes to absorb all the flavors.
