Ingredients

Scale

For the Garlic Feta Dip:

  • 8 oz (225 g) feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Platter:

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers
  • 1/2 cup stuffed grape leaves (dolmas)
  • 1/2 cup hummus
  • 1 cup pita bread or flatbread, sliced
  • 1/2 cup crackers
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Garlic Feta Dip: In a food processor, blend the crumbled feta cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper until smooth and creamy. If the dip is too thick, add a teaspoon of water to achieve the desired consistency. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  2. Arrange the Platter: On a large serving board, place the bowls of garlic feta dip and hummus. Arrange the cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, Kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, and stuffed grape leaves attractively around the dips.
  3. Add the Breads: Fill in any empty spaces on the platter with the sliced pita bread and crackers to create a full and inviting presentation.
  4. Finish & Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley or dill over the dip and the platter for a burst of color and freshness. Serve immediately, allowing guests to build their own bites and enjoy the variety of flavors.

Notes

  • Adjust the garlic quantity according to your preference for more or less intensity.
  • The dip can be prepared a few hours ahead; store covered in the refrigerator.
  • Add a teaspoon of water to thin the dip if needed.
  • Use fresh herbs like parsley or dill to enhance flavor and presentation.
  • For a gluten-free option, replace pita and crackers with gluten-free alternatives.
  • Serve the platter chilled or at room temperature.
