For the Brownie Base:
- 200 g unsalted butter
- 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 250 g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 120 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
For the Cheesecake Layer:
- 600 g cream cheese, softened
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 150 ml sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Caramel Topping:
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 90 g unsalted butter
- 120 ml heavy cream
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan with parchment paper.
