Board Add-Ons

  • Cherry tomatoes, a handful
  • Sliced cucumber, 1 medium
  • Kalamata olives, 1/2 cup
  • Roasted red peppers, 1/2 cup sliced
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, mint), a few sprigs each
  • Pita bread or pita chips, 4–6 pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Feta Trio: Divide the feta cheese into three equal portions. For the first portion, drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle dried oregano and lemon zest evenly over the top. For the second portion, drizzle with honey and sprinkle chili flakes for a sweet and spicy flavor. For the third portion, leave plain or lightly mash it, then drizzle with olive oil and season with cracked black pepper.
  2. Prepare the Hummus Dips: Divide the hummus into three separate bowls. For the first bowl, swirl in olive oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika. For the second, mix in the roasted red pepper purée thoroughly, then drizzle olive oil on top. For the third, sprinkle ground cumin, then finish with a drizzle of olive oil to enhance the flavors.
  3. Arrange the Board: On a large serving board, neatly arrange the three feta variations and three hummus dips in their bowls. Surround them with cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, Kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, and fresh herbs. Add pita bread or pita chips to one side for dipping.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish the entire board with additional fresh herbs and a final drizzle of olive oil over the top for shine and richness. Serve immediately or let sit at room temperature for enhanced flavors.
