Ingredients

Scale

Ground Beef Filling

  • 400g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp red onion, finely chopped

Hot Honey Feta Cream

  • 100g feta cheese
  • 3 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Pinch of black pepper

Wraps and Vegetables

  • 23 large flatbreads or pita breads
  • ½ cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ¼ cup shredded lettuce or arugula
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped red onion; sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Add ground beef, smoked paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking up the meat until browned and fully cooked.
  2. Prepare the hot honey feta cream: In a small bowl, mash feta with Greek yogurt, honey, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Warm the flatbreads: Heat the flatbreads in a skillet or oven for about 1 minute until soft and warm.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Spread a generous layer of hot honey feta cream over each flatbread. Add cooked ground beef, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes, and lettuce or arugula.
  5. Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley, roll the wraps tightly, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of crushed red pepper flakes to control the spiciness of the feta cream.
  • Use whole wheat or gluten-free flatbreads if preferred to accommodate dietary needs.
  • For added crunch, consider adding sliced red onions or bell peppers to the wraps.
  • Leftover ground beef can be refrigerated and used within 2 days.
  • Warm the flatbreads gently to prevent cracking when rolling the wraps.
