Brownie Batter:

  • 1 cup (300g) Nutella
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup (50g) sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Optional: ½ cup (80g) chocolate chips or chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy. Add Nutella and vanilla, then mix until smooth.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: Sift in the flour and salt, folding gently until just combined. If using, stir in chocolate chips or hazelnuts.
  3. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased and lined 8×8 inch (20x20cm) baking pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft for fudgy brownies.
  4. Cool and Serve: Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
