  • 1/2 cup ground pistachios 🌰
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pistachios, for coating 🌿
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🌼

Instructions

  1. Prepare Sweetened Condensed Milk Mixture: In a medium-sized saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and unsalted butter. Stir constantly until the butter melts completely.
  2. Integrate Pistachios: Mix in the ground pistachios and continue to stir for about 10-15 minutes until the mixture thickens and easily pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  3. Add Vanilla Extract: Stir in the vanilla extract and remove the pan from heat. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  4. Form Brigadeiros: Grease your hands with butter, then scoop and roll the mixture into small walnut-sized balls. Roll each ball in the finely chopped pistachios to coat evenly.
  5. Chill and Serve: Place the brigadeiros on a plate or in paper liners. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
