  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken or seafood broth
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried thyme

Vegetables:

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Garnish:

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Season the Seafood: Season salmon and shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet, sear salmon fillets for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, add shrimp and cook until pink. Remove and set aside.
  4. Make the Sauce: Deglaze the pan with white wine, let it reduce, then add broth, cream, thyme, and black pepper. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  5. Cook Vegetables: Add asparagus and cherry tomatoes, cook until tender but vibrant.
  6. Combine and Simmer: Return salmon and shrimp to skillet, spoon sauce over, simmer briefly to meld flavors.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley, serve with lemon wedges.
