For the Seafood Mac and Cheese:

  • 2 cups dry macaroni
  • 6 oz claw crab meat
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 8 oz block sharp white cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz block mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup panko bread crumbs
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare Seafood: Clean and devein the shrimp. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and place in a mixing bowl. Mix in sour cream.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add crab meat to the macaroni. Chop spring onion and grate cheeses.
  4. Make Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté shrimp. Remove shrimp and add to macaroni. Sauté onions, add flour, then pour in milk slowly. Add cheddar until melted.
  5. Assemble: Pour sauce over pasta and seafood. Season and transfer to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden. Serve hot.
