  • 1 whole Camembert wheel (250g), in wooden box
  • 2 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey + pinch of chili flakes)
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp shelled pistachios, toasted and chopped
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Freshly cracked black pepper

To Serve

  • Toasted baguette slices
  • Crackers or grissini
  • Apple or pear slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (355°F). Remove any plastic from the Camembert and place it back into its wooden box or in a small ovenproof dish.
  2. Score the top rind in a crosshatch pattern. Drizzle with olive oil and 1 tbsp hot honey.
  3. Sprinkle with fresh thyme and cracked pepper.
  4. Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes, until gooey and bubbling in the center.
  5. Remove from oven, top with remaining hot honey and the toasted pistachios.
  6. Serve hot with bread, crackers, or fruit for dipping.
